Bleeding Silence

This artwork explores the quiet violence of suppressed emotion. A fragile human figure emerges from the darkness, its form reduced to essential lines — vulnerable, exposed, and almost skeletal in its honesty.

The red tears flowing from the eyes symbolize pain that can no longer remain hidden. They are not ordinary tears; they bleed. They represent emotional wounds, silent suffering, and the moments when inner turmoil becomes impossible to contain.

The stark contrast between black and white emphasizes the tension between presence and absence, strength and fragility. In this space, the human body becomes a vessel for unspoken grief.

“Bleeding Silence” invites the viewer to confront the weight of emotions we often hide — reminding us that sometimes the deepest cries are the ones that remain unheard.

I used acrylic paint on canvas in my artwork.
